Well, life has certainly gotten busy! It's a good thing.
Starting in January, I have to animate with my group film...no free time.
Also have to start storyboarding my 4th year film...no free time.
Summer...internship at an animation studio...no free time.
4th year...independent film...NO FREE TIME HAHAHAHA.
Then off to start my new life yayyy.
I've been on a bit of a hiatus already, only coming on to do dailies and train Betsy, and maybe chat a little if I feel like it and have a bit of free time. I'm not gonna quit, there's no reason to full-on quit, but I won't be on.
My comic Kadventures most likely won't be updated ever again, sadly. I had many planned for December and never found any free time to do them, I just had too big of a workload. When I did find the free time, Christmas break, it was already too late to draw and submit a comic and I found myself busy with family stuff. If I do end Kadventures, well, it was a fun run. I don't regret it one bit, but I suppose some things must come to an end eventually. Sad that I had so many ideas that will never make it into a comic, but we'll see. Maybe I'll find the time to do a few more, but with my life only becoming busier, I doubt it. Also in the summer or after college I'm gonna take up trumpet lessons, never too late to learn anything eh? I almost took it up as a kid, but my parents were gonna put me in private lessons and as a kid, that meant less time for drawing lol! I regret not taking it up, so I will take it up before I regret it later in life. So a lot of my free time will be spent learning that lolol.
I'm super excited for what's coming up in my life, so don't be sad! I'm very happy and putting Neo aside isn't a bad thing. I'm getting a career in what I love the most, which not a lot of people can say. It's really a great thing.
I'll also be donating a bit of my vacation time to helping with the Sandy Hook business. I live in Connecticut and the whole state is really blue and somber, and myself...I can't talk about it without crying. It is wonderful how much the community is helping and there for the families, even though it can't heal the wounds, knowing that people do care is quite a nice feeling.
Also, I know I have commissions. I will start them after Christmas, I've just had so much to do! And when family business is done with, I'll have time to work on those as well as my portfolio and demo reel for internship.
THANK YOU COMMISSIONERS FOR BEING SO PATIENT.
